Viola M. Boyer, age 86, of Cedar Lake passed away November 2, 2018. She is survived by her children, Larry (Shawn) Boyer and Lisa Koester; grandchildren, Dawn Gower, Ike Boyer, and William Koester; great-grandchildren, Summer, Dawson, and Blake. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee and daughter, Paula.
Friends may meet with the family on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 3 to 7 pm at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Ave (corner of Rt. 41 & 129th Ave) Cedar Lake. A funeral service will be held Monday at 7:00 pm at the Burdan Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Arlyn Walters, officiating. Private burial to follow at German Methodist Cemetery.
Viola was devoted to her family and loved being together with them. She was also blessed to have the care of the Cedar Creek family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations to Autism Speaks in Viola's memory will be greatly appreciated.
