Thomas Nelson III, age 43, of Cedar Lake passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. He is survived by his children, Ashtyn and Olivia; parents, Thomas, Jr. and Janice Nelson; brother, Tony (Jonae) Nelson; sister, Crystal Nelson; grandmother, Shirley Evans; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Kaleb, and Jyel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Ann Fus and grandfather, Thomas Nelson, Sr.
Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm.
Tommy was a free spirit, a generous soul, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
