Shelly R. Rebenack, age 60, of Cedar Lake, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Richard; sons, Jason (Sharon) Rebenack and Joshua Rebenack; granddaughters Caitlin and Jenna; Parents, George and Peggy Hudak; siblings, Jeff Hudak, Greg Hudak, and Lisa (Brian) Meier; numerous nieces and nephews. Shelly was preceded in death by her brother, George Hudak, Jr.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake, A memorial service will take place Friday evening at 6:30 pm, Pastor John Starr, officiating.

Shelly was the store director at Strack and Van Til supermarket where she was employed for over 28 years. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Shelly really enjoyed palm trees, warm sandy beaches and being close to the family and friends who will miss her dearly.
