Ronald W. Boersma, age 60, of Cedar Lake passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon; 2 daughters, Dawn (Brad) Bonneau and Tammi (Mike) Szczepanek; grand children, Noah Bonneau and Sophia Szczepanek; siblings, Sharon (late Bill) Smith, Robert (Lin), Russell (Alice), Marilyn (Kevin) Wagenaar, and Roger (late Carolyn). Preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Agnes.
Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 2 to 8 pm at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Ave (corner of Rt 41 & 129th Ave) Cedar Lake. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Burdan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN.
Ron loved living on the farm and being on his John Deere tractor. He loved his family and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donation to Phil's Friends www.philsfriends.org in Ron's name will be greatly appreciated.
