Ralph H. Brockman, age 85, passed away April 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Ellie Mae (Michael) Shortreed, Ralph Henry (Doris) Brockman, Jr., Darlene (Steven) Steiner, Linda (Joe) Nuccio, and Gloria Krisik; 8 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3 to 7 pm at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Ave (corner of Rt 41 & 129th Ave) Cedar Lake. A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 23, 2018 Directly at Zion United Church of Christ 14804 W 113th Ave. Dyer, IN 46311 with visitation from 10:00 am till the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery.
Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served as a military police officer in Japan He built many houses in the Cedar Lake area and specialized in concrete work. Ralph will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
