Nancy was born on October 16, 1951 in Chicago. She met her husband, Tom, while working for the phone company. After marrying in 1980, she chose to start a family which led her to stay at home and raise her daughters. Nancy was selfless. She poured her heart into her family, never missed a sporting event, and was known as "mom" to many. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer for nearly 10 years and endured more than her fair share of surgeries. Through it all, she never quit fighting. She was a role model to many. Her life was spent taking care of the people around and enjoying her time as Nani. Her love was felt by all.
