Jim was born in Lubbock, Texas. He was the youngest of four and grew up in his father's machine shop. Working along side his brothers he learned the hard work and analytical thinking necessary to make a living restoring copiers and eventually Network Installation Management. His independence and persistence to have his own company lead him and his family to Northwest Indiana. It was there that he and his wife opened a successful computer and office equipment business. Golfing was Jim's passion and enjoyed the numerous golfing trips with his buddies. He enjoyed trips to Colorado appreciating the serenity, landscape and quiet times hiking with his wife. Jim looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren teaching them chess, going to sporting events and museums. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. In lieu of flowers donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
