Jack O. Wagar, age 68, of Cedar Lake passed away March 16, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Melissa (Kurt) Erickson, Monica Wagar, and Eric Wagar; grandchildren, Jordan and Jack Tyler, Kourtnea, Kyle, and Kyrena; great-granddaughter, Kelsey; sister, Kitty (Bob) Koelm; The Rodig family and counters; Mia, Bella and Ziva. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lela Yasui and grand-puppies Missy and Jade.

Friends may greet the family on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2 pm until 7 pm at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave. (corner of US 41 and 129th Ave.) Cedar Lake, IN 46303. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 20th at 10 am at Burdan Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor David Weemhoff, officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery.

Jack retired from Illinois Bell Telephone and Sons of Thunder Express. He was a veteran of the US Army. Jack volunteered at Faith Church and MacArthur School. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. John 3:16
