Harold Michael Dovichi "Happy Harry", age 78, of Cedar Lake passed away May 11, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary "Pat" Dovichi; son, Patrick (Dena) Dovichi of Chicago, daughters, Donna Dovichi of St. John and Deanna (fiance' David Wayne) of Hobart; sister Diana Merkel of Lowell; 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Dovichi, sons Tony and Timmy Dovichi, and grandson Tony Dovichi, Jr.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am DIRECTLY at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11000 W 133rd Ave, Cedar Lake, Father Michael Surufka, OFM officiating. Inurnment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery.

Harold was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1957. He joined the Marine Corps where he boxed. He believed in physical fitness and enjoyed lifting weights and body-building. Harold was a lifetime member of Holy Name Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
