On the evening of March 23, 2020, Frances Marie Salvador (nee Hodor) of Cedar Lake Indiana passed away peacefully in her home. She was born to Frank and Louise Hodor on April 18, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Oliver (Gunzie) Salvador until his death in 1982.

Frances spent her time with family and her many grandchildren, she loved to dance and sing with friends, had a penchant for writing, and kept many detailed journals. She was a big fan of Bunko and solitaire, and any card game she could get you to play. Frances was a special person that had an effect on everyone around her; she brightened the lives around her every single day. She was truly one of a kind.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Oliver (Gunzie), and her parents Frank and Louise Hodor (Hodorowicz). She is survived by her 5 daughters, Mary Lou (Jim Barrows), Olivia (Scott Mitchell), Anita Salvador, Francine (Frank Bradtke) and Paula (Mark Stenger) and her 9 grandchildren, Shane and Justin Petyko, Christopher Simunick, Ashley and Kasey Stenger, Trevor and Grant Bradtke and Ray and Gina Singleton. Also 3 great grandchildren Alisya, Gage and Teralyn.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
