Dorris "Dodie" Nolan, 73, of St. John, passed away October 15, 2015. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 50 years, Dan Nolan; children, David (Kris) Nolan, Laura (Jim) Tye, Harold (LuAnn) Cohn, Danielle (Ralph) Brown, Pam (Stan) Trim, Steve (Maria) Nolan, Joe (Deb) Nolan; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marjorie Corbett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may greet the family from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Avenue, Cedar Lake, IN 46303. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm October 19th at Burdan Funeral Home.

Dodie attended Emerson High School in Gary. She retired as Vice President of Northern Indiana Federal Credit Union after 20 years of service. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Cedar Lake. Her biggest joy in life was her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
