Darlene S. Lenz, age 72, of Cedar Lake passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. She is survived by her children, Julie (Theresa Smithey) Jackman and Wayne (Cindy) Jackman; grandson, Brandon. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lenz.
Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Ave (corner of Rt 41 & 129th Ave) Cedar Lake. A service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Burdan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Chalmers Community Cemetery.
Darlene loved her pets, especially her dog, Bubba. She enjoyed gardening and painting and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society in Darlene's name will be greatly appreciated.
