Carol Caldwell Ison, age 63, of Lowell, passed away March 26, 2018. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Amber (Corey) Matthews; granddaughters Summer, Judith and Cortney; sisters, Sharon (Rob) Brackett, LeeAnn (Terry) Moore, and Cathy (Darrell) Sams; many wonderful nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by both parents, her brother, Wesley Caldwell, sister, Karen Munrow, and nephews Robert and Chris Pickett.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10 am to 3 pm at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake. A funeral service will take place Saturday at 3 pm at Burdan Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Tom Shanahan, officiating.

Carol was born August 2, 1954 to Robert and Frances Caldwell. She was a member of Cedar Lake United Methodist Church. Her joy was being a devoted mother and grandmother. Carol will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
